Basketball Recap: Gainesville Takes a Loss

Gainesville was the 63-51 winner over North Marion when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hurricanes fell 57-46 to the Colts on Friday.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Marion, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Gainesville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for North Marion, they will take on Osceola at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Colts will need to watch out since the Kowboys have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
