Volleyball Recap: Copper Hills Takes a Loss

Copper Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Riverton Silverwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Silverwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-16.

Ian Allgrunn paced Copper Hills' offense, picking up 12 kills. Allgrunn got some help from Agustin Paz and his 20 assists.

Copper Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Riverton, they moved to 14-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Copper Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Bingham on the 2nd. As for Riverton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Herriman on the 2nd.
