Volleyball Recap: Burgin Find Success

The Burgin Bulldogs were able to grind out a solid victory over the Jackson County Generals on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Burgin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Jackson County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Burgin will face off against Mercer County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Harlan on the 13th.
