Tecumseh and Pinckney are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Tecumseh Indians will square off against the Pinckney Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tecumseh knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Pinckney likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Tecumseh ended up a good deal behind Adrian and lost 74-55. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Maples recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pinckney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by Chelsea 71-37. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 498th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 127th).

Tecumseh's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Pinckney, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Everything went Tecumseh's way against Pinckney when the teams last played back in January, as Tecumseh made off with an 80-54 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tecumseh since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
