Basketball Recap: Wickenburg's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Wickenburg was the 51-30 winner over Kingman Academy when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Wickenburg Wranglers fell to the Kingman Academy Tigers 45-39.

Wickenburg's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Kingman Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Wickenburg will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Agua Fria at 3:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Agua Fria has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Kingman Academy also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Highland Prep West at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
