Softball Recap: The Woodlands Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Woodlands). They walked away with a 14-9 win over the Magnolia Bulldogs on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Highlanders considering their one-run performance the contest before.

The victory (which was The Woodlands' fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Magnolia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, The Woodlands will take on Cinco Ranch in a tournament on Saturday. As for Magnolia, they will square off against Klein Forest at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
