Basketball Recap: Carver Birmingham Comes Up Short

Carver Birmingham suffered their closest defeat since November 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Altamont Knights by a score of 63-60. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-43 on Friday.

Carver Birmingham's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Altamont, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver Birmingham will head out to take on Woodlawn at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Altamont, they will venture away from home to face off against Westminster School at Oak Mountain at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
