 The South Lakes Seahawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Washington-Liberty Generals at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday. South Lakes will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
 Last Monday, South Lakes kept a clean sheet against George C. Marshall. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Statesmen. Two seems to be a good number for South Lakes as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  goals in their previous game.
 They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Mary-Caitlyn Laquindanum and 
 Emily Inman, who scored both of South Lakes' goals.  The pair have combined for a total of five so far this season.
 Meanwhile, Washington-Liberty beat Centreville 2-0  back in March. Two seems to be a good number for Washington-Liberty as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  goals in their previous game.
 South Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Washington-Liberty,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 South Lakes was able to grind out a solid  victory over Washington-Liberty when the teams last played  back in May of 2021, winning  3-1. Does  South Lakes have another victory up their sleeve, or will Washington-Liberty turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
