Football Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

Peninsula came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Torrance Tartars and fell 31-0. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Ethan Balog threw for 79 yards. Kamran Dowlatshai was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Torrance, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Peninsula didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-21 defeat against North on the 17th. As for Torrance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 48-28 win against South on the 17th.
