Football Game Preview: Broadmoor Buccaneers vs. McKinley Panthers + How To Watch

Broadmoor is 0-7 against McKinley since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Buccaneers will venture away from home to face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Broadmoor ended up a good deal behind West Feliciana and lost 50-35. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Saints are ranked 94th).

Despite their defeat, Broadmoor saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Brandon Thomas Jr, who rushed for 39 yards, and also threw for 64 yards and one touchdown on only six passes, was perhaps the best of all.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for McKinley's offense. They were dealt a 35-0 loss at the hands of Scotlandville on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost eight in a row.

McKinley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Broadmoor, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Broadmoor couldn't quite finish off McKinley in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 and fell 9-6. Can the Buccaneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
