Liberty North barely beat Fayetteville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Bulldogs on Saturday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Dathan Curp looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jacob Bell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tucker Gamet, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.

Liberty North moved to 14-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Fayetteville, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-6.
