Volleyball Recap: Forge Christian Takes a Loss

The Forge Christian Fury came up short against the Mullen Mustangs on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Fury have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Forge Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 21-25, 25-19.

Treyson Eye paced Forge Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Eye got some help from Dennis Blinov and his 17 assists. Lukas Hong controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mullen found their leader in sophomore Eli Oatman, who had 11 digs.

Forge Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mullen, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Forge Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Stargate School on the 27th. As for Mullen, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Littleton Public Schools on the 27th.
