East Hill Christian took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Gulf Pointe Latin 13-3. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Harrison Fullerton and Charlie Hall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Fullerton struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Meanwhile, Hall struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024. At bat, Fullerton scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while Hall got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Hall a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zach McDaniel, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Gabe Staneart was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
East Hill Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gulf Pointe Latin only posted an OBP of .375.
Meanwhile, West Florida Baptist Academy came up short against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy on Tuesday and fell 6-1. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
West Florida Baptist Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Hughes, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
West Florida Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for East Hill Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
East Hill Christian might still be hurting after the 16-7 defeat they got from West Florida Baptist Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can East Hill Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
