Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elkhart). They breezed by the New Prairie Cougars to the tune of 63-28 on Friday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 28 points or more this season.

New Prairie's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nevaeh Trobaugh, who posted six points, and Lauren Abbott, who put up no points. Chloe Deutscher was another key player, putting up six points.

Elkhart is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for New Prairie, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Elkhart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-24 victory against Goshen on the 17th. As for New Prairie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-24 loss against Marquette Catholic on the 18th.
