Bayside Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Lewisburg. The Admirals came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Admirals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Emma Thorsrud paced Bayside Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Thorsrud got some help from Sophie Hester and her 18 assists. Sara Sahlie Marcato controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bayside Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lewisburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-5.

Bayside Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Trinity Presbyterian on the 23rd. As for Lewisburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Tupelo on the 26th.
