Softball Recap: Kashmere Comes Up Short

Kashmere was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 15-12 to the Worthing Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

Kashmere's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Worthing, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kashmere will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Yates at 6:00 p.m. on April 2. As for Worthing, they will host North Forest at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
