After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fern Creek, Moore was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Waggener Wildcats 23-8. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

The victory got Moore back to even at 2-2. As for Waggener, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Moore will host Doss at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.5 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Waggener, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fort Knox at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
