Basketball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Piketon Redstreaks on the road by a 49-34 margin. The Ironman/Ironladies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redstreaks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Piketon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will be home for the holidays to greet Minford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Piketon, they will host Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
