Softball Recap: Collinsville Pirates vs. Tom Bean Tomcats

Collinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 16-12 to the Tom Bean Tomcats. Even if the Pirates couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Rilee Stewart led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and one run. Tessa Vannoy was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
