Baseball Recap: Sanborn Regional Comes Up Short

Sanborn Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oyster River Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 back in April.

Sanborn Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Oyster River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Sanborn Regional will challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oyster River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
