Volleyball Game Preview: Kingwood Park Panthers vs. Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers

Kingwood Park are taking a road trip to challenge Aggieland HomeSchool at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Kingwood Park is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Atascocita, who was ranked 18th at the time (Kingwood Park was ranked eighth). The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-16 in the first set.

Kingwood Park actually scored more points across those five sets (101-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-20, 25-18, 12-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Aggieland HomeSchool made easy work of Willis on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The victory didn't come easy: Willis scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.

Kingwood Park better focus on containing Luke Hoeschle and Calvin Whipple as the pair were huge in Aggieland HomeSchool's win. Hoeschle had 26 digs and one assist, while Whipple had 18 assists and two aces. That's the most assists Whipple has posted since back in February.

Kingwood Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
