Soccer Recap: Boone's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Boone entered their contest against East Ridge on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Boone Braves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Ridge Knights. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

Boone's goal came courtesy of Rosa Rivera, who's now up to six this season.

Boone's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for East Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boone will head out to face off against Timber Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Ridge, they will venture away from home to square off against Viera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Viera is on a four-game streak of home wins, East Ridge a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
