Soccer Game Preview: Central Lafourche vs. E.D. White

The Central Lafourche Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the E.D. White Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Central Lafourche is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Louisiana's top teams: St. Thomas More, who was ranked 17th at the time (Central Lafourche was ranked 14th). Central Lafourche lost 4-1 to St. Thomas More on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Trojans were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask E.D. White). Everything went their way against Parkview Baptist on Saturday as E.D. White made off with a 5-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cardinals needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4-2. As for Central Lafourche, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3-3.
