Recap: Wyoming Cowboys vs. Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS

The Wyoming Cowboys can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over Madeira. The win was just business as usual for Wyoming, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.

Despite the loss, Madeira still got an impressive performance from Aidan Hopewell, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Reed, who scored eight points.

Wyoming pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Madeira, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-6 record last season and are now at 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wyoming will take on Bishop Fenwick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Fenwick is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Madeira won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Batavia at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. Batavia presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Madeira in Ohio (Batavia is ranked 261st, while Madeira is ranked 589th).
