Riverdale dropped their record down to 24-5 on Saturday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins. They fell 5-1 to the Biggsville West Central Heat. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Riverdale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danika Saddoris, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

As for Biggsville West Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.4 runs.

On Biggsville West Central's side, the team relied heavily on Becca Hinshaw, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
