It was a good run, but San Jacinto Valley Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 14-1 to the Canyon Springs Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in February.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Canyon Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Jacinto Valley Academy will host Santa Rosa Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Jacinto Valley Academy has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Canyon Springs, they will challenge Redlands Adventist Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
