Basketball Recap: Dime Box Triumphs

If North Zulch wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dime Box, they should've done a better job of containing Ta'Niyah Auston. The Dime Box Longhorns came out on top against the North Zulch Bulldogs by a score of 51-40 on Wednesday thanks in part to Auston, who posted 27 points. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Dime Box's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Chansidy Straughter, who earned eight points. Those eight points gave her a new career-high.

Dime Box's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for North Zulch, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Dime Box nor North Zulch have any future games scheduled.
