Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Marshall was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Glendale Adventist on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Bishop Amat Lancers on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-20, 25-10.

Naomi Taylor paced Marshall's offense, picking up six kills. Taylor got some help from Ashley Dominguez and her 11 assists. Dominguez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Eunice Manik, racking up two apiece.

Bishop Amat's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lauren Meza led the charge by getting 12 digs and three assists. Midori Lo was another key player, getting five digs and four aces.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bishop Amat, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Marshall has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Ramona Convent on the 22nd. As for Bishop Amat, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary on the 21st.
