Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pieper

Pieper waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Hutto Hippos by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Their offense was headlined by Eva Planchet and Olivia Theis, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Amaris Williams and her 11 assists. Planchet also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Dani McAllister, racking up two apiece.

Tegan Coombs and Kharmin Fisher certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Coombs had eight digs and three aces, while Fisher had four digs and three assists.

Pieper's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hutto, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Pieper has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Concordia Lutheran on the 14th. As for Hutto, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Taylor on the 14th.
