Basketball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 54-33 to the Dollar Bay Bays. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while the Bays are ranked 220th).

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Dollar Bay, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Hancock has already played their next matchup (against Iron Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dollar Bay, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-37 win against Baraga on the 14th.
