Softball Recap: Lafayette Generals vs. Bryan Station Defenders

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lexington Catholic, Lafayette was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Bryan Station Defenders 4-2. This was a revenge contest for Lafayette, as the team was forced to settle for an 11-10 loss when these two played two weeks ago.

Lafayette got a great performance from Lyla Hould as she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits.

At the plate, Jenna Wells was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynna Harris, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Lafayette's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 21-16. As for Bryan Station, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-12.

As of now, neither Lafayette nor Bryan Station have any future games scheduled.
