Baseball Recap: Clarksville Comes Up Short

Clarksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Mansfield Tigers. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Rogelio Morales was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Clarksville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Mansfield, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksville will challenge Ozark at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mansfield, they will head out to take on Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
