Volleyball Game Preview: St. Joseph Lancers vs. Dominican Knights + How To Watch

St. Joseph hasn't had much luck against Dominican recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lancers will head out to square off against the Knights at 6:30 p.m. St. Joseph is coming into the match hot, having won their last 14 games.

Last Thursday, St. Joseph made easy work of Martin Luther and carried off a 3-0 victory.

St. Joseph walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Dominican sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Racine Lutheran on Tuesday.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dominican got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 27-29, 25-12, 19-25, 15-10.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Dominican, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.

St. Joseph suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Dominican when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Lancers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
