Delta has gone 6-0 against Blackford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Delta Eagles will challenge the Blackford Bruins at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Delta beat Pendleton Heights 44-40.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Furney, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 10 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bronson Edwards, who posted 13 points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blackford). They secured a 68-63 W over Monroe Central on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on four straight.

Blackford pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Delta, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Everything came up roses for Delta against Blackford in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 70-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Delta since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
