Softball Recap: Ingleside's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Ingleside fell victim to Rockport-Fulton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ingleside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Murua, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Murua hit this season.

With the defeat, Ingleside broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-9. As for Rockport-Fulton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.
