The Wade Hampton Generals won the last time they faced the Easley Green Wave, and things went their way on Monday too. Wade Hampton pulled ahead with a 54-53 photo finish over Easley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wade Hampton.
Easley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Karson Bigham, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assists. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for Bigham. Rebekah Eron was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Wade Hampton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Easley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wade Hampton will take on Mauldin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mauldin has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three matches. As for Easley, they will be playing at home against Daniel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
