Tomball entered their tilt with Magnolia West on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Tomball might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Magnolia West scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22.

Tomball's offense was headlined by Heidi Horan and Georgia Hornes, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Greysen Ortmeier and her 41 assists. Kinsley Moretti controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Tomball's victory bumped their record up to 32-5. As for Magnolia West, they now have a losing record of 15-16.

Coincidentally, Tomball and Magnolia West will both be playing Klein the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Bearkats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
