Baseball Recap: Naperville North Starts Season with Win Against Plainfield East

Naperville North had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Plainfield East Bengals on Tuesday.

Yash Desai looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Brady Marino was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chuck LaScala, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Coming up, Naperville North is taking a road trip to square off against St. Charles East at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Plainfield East, they will face off against Macomb at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
