Softball Recap: Walnut Takes a Loss

Walnut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Diamond Bar Brahmas. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Brahmas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-5 back in April.

Teri W was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Walnut's record is now 3-19. As for Diamond Bar, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12.

While Walnut had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
