Basketball Game Preview: Burleson Elks vs. Everman Bulldogs

The Burleson Elks will take on the Everman Bulldogs in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burleson is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Burleson ended up a good deal behind Joshua and lost 46-30. While losing is never fun, the Elks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Owls are ranked 338th).

Meanwhile, Everman lost to Mansfield Summit on the road by a 60-43 margin on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Everman's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Burleson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
