Basketball Recap: Chickasaw Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Chickasaw and Luverne squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Chickasaw had to settle for second. They took a 71-52 bruising from the Luverne Tigers. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chickasaw's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Luverne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Chickasaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Luverne, they will take on Abbeville on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Abbeville comes in on 11 and Luverne on six.
