Sidney came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Walton Warriors 49-33. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-37 on January 6th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sidney to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nayla Miley, who posted 20 points. Miley continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Bella Conroy, who had 13 points.

Walton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Walley, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Walley is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. Ella Beardslee was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

Sidney pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Walton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidney will welcome Bainbridge-Guilford at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Walton, they will host Delaware Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
