Basketball Recap: Reagan Skates Past Madison with Ease

Reagan won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Friday too. The Reagan Rattlers blew past the Madison Mavericks 55-24. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Mavericks are ranked 930th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan had a senior duo take command as Renata Parga posted 11 points and seven rebounds and Sahara Green earned eight points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Bria Glosson, who had nine points.

The victory made it two in a row for Reagan and bumps their season record up to 17-12. As for Madison, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-25.

Reagan will face off against Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Reagan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Madison, they will challenge Clark at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
