Volleyball Recap: Del Norte Nighthawks vs. Carlsbad Lancers

Del Norte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Carlsbad Lancers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Del Norte ultimately came up short, they really made Carlsbad work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 28-26, 25-19.

Will Bartelt paced Del Norte's offense, picking up eight kills. Bartelt got some help from Evan Foundos and his 18 assists. Bartelt was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.
