Recap: Roseville Panthers vs. De La Salle Collegiate Pilots
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Roseville Panthers can now relate to. They were the victim of a rough 34-14 loss at the hands of De La Salle Collegiate on Friday. Roseville has struggled against De La Salle Collegiate recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Sante Gasperoni, who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 83 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Anthony Bitonti and his 161 yards on the ground were also a key factor in De La Salle Collegiate's win.
Roseville's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for De La Salle Collegiate, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Roseville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. De La Salle Collegiate will take on Mott at TBD on Saturday. Mott is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
