After a string of three wins, Riverdale's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cascade Champions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Champions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Lashaundra Fleming was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Montanna Arel also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cascade, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will head out on the road to face off against Oakland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cascade, they will welcome Forrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
