Volleyball Game Preview: Jackson-Olin Mustangs vs. Shelby County Wildcats

The Jackson-Olin Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Shelby County Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Jackson-Olin came up short against Parker two weeks ago, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-7.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Shelby County duked it out with Jemison on Monday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-6, 25-11.

Jackson-Olin's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Shelby County, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Jackson-Olin couldn't quite get it done against Shelby County in their previous matchup back in September of 2021 as they fell 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
