Volleyball Recap: Lithia Springs Takes a Loss

Lithia Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Alexander Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Lithia Springs' record now sits at 8-21. As for Alexander, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-16 record this season.

Lithia Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Chapel Hill on the 4th. As for Alexander, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Douglas County on the 4th.
