They weren't the only one making solid contact: Bracken Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Bracken Christian pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Valor Preparatory Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .469. However, it's not like Bracken Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .447. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
