Soccer Recap: Bellows Free Academy Takes a Loss

Bellows Free Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Vergennes Commodores, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Vergennes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in September.

Bellows Free Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Vergennes, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Bellows Free Academy will face off against Danville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bellows Free Academy will need to watch out since Danville have now posted at least four goals in their last five matchups. As for Vergennes, they will be playing at home against Richford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
